Eleven idyllic tours through Belgium... That is what the Proximus Cycling Challenge has in store for participants this year. Join us on some fabulous scenic routes through Belgium’s most beautiful regions! From early March until September, we will introduce you to some of the most beautiful circuits across different regions in Belgium.

The Proximus Cycling Challenge kicks off in March, when the road cycling pack can be found in the Flemish Ardennes. The season starts on 4 March in Oudenaarde, during the Ename Classic. There are two challenges on the programme the following weekend. On Saturday 11 March, your calves will get a workout during the climbs of the Reuzen van Vlaanderen. The following day, it’s time for another classic, namely Nokere Koerse Cyclo. With so many options to choose from, why not register for all three to avoid FOMO?

Late April brings more vertical metres as we head to the south of the country for the Tour de Namur. The start of the Ardennes segment, which extends into May with the Chouffe Classic in Houffalize and the Flèche de Wallonie from Spa.

This year’s calendar includes a newcomer, namely Best of Limburg on Sunday 28 May. Discover the most beautiful spots of Limburg one day before the pros hit the road for their Ronde van Limburg. One week later, you have an opportunity to accelerate between Tilff and Bastogne during Tilff-Bastogne-Tilff. On Sunday 6 August, we head to the Province of Antwerp for the Fietsdodentocht, which starts from Bornem.

The season closes on Saturday 26 August in Angleur with the Géants des Ardennes. As its name indicates, we have saved the best, or rather the toughest, for last. You can already register for the first three races on www.proximuscyclingchallenge.be. You will be able to register for the other cyclos soon.
