Ride along with Johan Museeuw in and around Glasgow

Road  01/08/2023

On 4 and 6 August, Flanders Classics, together with Cycling in Flanders and Link My Ride, is organising two 60 kilometer social rides in and around Glasgow, where this year's UCI Cycling World Championships are taking place. Together with Johan Museeuw, you will discover the most beautiful places the region in Scotland has to offer.

Do you fancy an unforgettable Flandrien experience? Then you need to be in Glasgow from 4 to 6 August. Johan Museeuw will take you on a 60 kilometer social ride to some great spots in Glasgow and Lanarkshire. Besides that, you can also have a go at beating the time of the Lion of Flanders in a virtual cycling challenge over the Oude Kwaremont. You will have a chance to win a fun prize.

Of course, the sporting effort isn’t all that matters. After the ride, you can experience the races taking place as part of the UCI Road World Championships from the front row. Large screens in the Shilling Brewing Company will make sure you don't miss a second of the action. When the riders pass by the pub, you can cheer them on with a Belgian beer in your hand.
