Finlay Storrie wins the Vlaamse Druivenkoers Overijse for Men U19

Finlay Storrie has won the Druivenkoers for Men U19. The Brit was the fastest in a large leading group, beating Victor Devos and Sebastian Suppi to the win.

The Men U19 riders faced a 128.9-kilometre race featuring 11 climbs. Flynn Delanghe (Van Moer Logistics Cycling Team) was the first rider to break away. The Belgian was joined by Owen Sherman (Avia-Rudyco Cycling Team) and Lilian Boulanger (Trustup – CC Chevigny), but the trio did not stay away for long. After a series of unsuccessful attacks, a group of seven riders formed at the front with two laps to go. However, the cooperation was not smooth, allowing nine chasers to bridge across. The 16 leaders entered the final lap together.

There were several attacks on the Speelberg, Moskesstraat and Holstheide, but nobody managed to get clear. In the end, Briton Finlay Storrie (Jegg – Skill – DJR) won the sprint ahead of Victor Devos (Soudal Quick-Step U19) and Sebastian Suppi (Cannibal B Victorious).
