Estonian Oliver Mätik has won Gent-Wevelgem for Men U19. Together with Thor De Paepe, he went on the attack in the hilly zone. Mätik was then strongest in the sprint.

At 11:30, the flag was waved in the Grote Markt in Ypres signalling the start of the GP André Noyelle. A 121 km ride awaited the Men U19 with seven climbs along the way. We had to wait until the hilly zone before any separation occurred in the peloton. Thor De Paepe and Estonian Oliver Mätik set off together in the finale.

After the final passage over the Kemmelberg, the duo had a lead of about 1'45" over a fragmented peloton. The advantage of the two leaders started to shrink on the road to Ypres, but the peloton came too late. Mätik got the measure of De Paepe in the sprint. Nolan Huysmans, Mätik's teammate at Cannibal Bahrain Victorious, won the bunch sprint to take third place.
