Road  21/11/2022

We will find out who will be the successors of Mathieu van der Poel and Chiara Consonni after a race on a circuit that is largely similar to that of 2022. The men’s race will start again in Roeselare, riding past the cemetery of Jempio Monseré in the direction of Waregem, before the final with Flemish hills kicks off. The women will start in Waregem and will be treated to the same final as the men.

In 2023, the first climb in the hilly zone is the Volkegemberg, which is new. Hotond and Côte de Trieu, among others, have the same role as in previous editions. Like last year, the local circuit in Waregem has been included in the men’s and women’s races, but the local rounds will be ridden in the reverse direction this year. A few kilometers before the local circuit, both peloton will face the cobbles of Huisepontweg. The finish line is as always on Verbindingsweg.
