1000 km against cancer: the movie
Last week 267 enthousiastic teams rode 1000 km through Belgium by bike for a good cause: Kom op tegen Kanker.

From the 2nd until the 5th of June more than 260 teams rode 1000km through Belgium to help raise money for cancer treatment. Together they managed to collect 1.335.000 euro. You can watch the pictures of this journey on bikes here.

Torhout will be 'Dorp van de Ronde'' 2012
Flanders Classics, the organization behind the Tour of Flanders has chosen Torhout as 'Dorp van de Ronde 2012' (Village of the Tour of Flanders 2012).
On the way to 1000 km
From the 2nd until the 5th of June a large group of cyclists ride 1000 km through Belgium for Kom op tegen Kanker. Purpose is to collect money for the scientific investigation into cancer and cancer treatment.
A straight line to the Brabant Arrow
On Wednesday April 13th the Flanders Classics spring-season closes with the Brabant Arrow. The season started with a soaking wet Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Lukely, the other Flanders Classics-races had nicer weather conditions. The spring-season had some great wins already.
Welcome on the new website of Flanders Classics
Flanders Classics is an umbrella organization for classic cycle races held in Flanders. Founded in 2010, Flanders Classics is the owner of the prestigeous Tour of Flanders and of the opening race Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, it is also involved at different levels in the following races: Dwars door Vlaanderen, Gent-Wevelgem, de Scheldeprijs and the Brabant Arrow. This year we start a new project 'Flanders Classics Cyclo' under the motto 'ride the classics by yourself'.

The 1000 Km of 'Kom Op Tegen Kanker'
Flanders Classics is organisation partner of de 1000 km van Kom op tegen Kanker. Flanders Classics's team is already training for the next edition of the longest cycle track through Flanders.
Kom op tegen Kanker
Bedoeling is van de Flanders Classics een sterk merk te maken. Niet alleen in de steeds mondialere wielerwereld, ook daarbuiten. Minister-president Kris Peeters: "Vanuit de Vlaamse regering loopt momenteel het project VIA, Vlaanderen In Actie. Daarmee willen we van Vlaanderen één van de meest bewegende regio's in Europa maken. Een sterk merk als Flanders Classics draagt daartoe bij."
Flanders Classics vernieuwt voorjaar
In de Eskimofabriek in Gent werd gisteren de Flanders classics boven de doopvont gehouden. Dat is de nieuwe koepel van Vlaamse voorjaarsklassiekers, met de Ronde van Vlaanderen als paradepaardje.
